The Bad Idea Mill is an independent publication launched in August 2024 by Lulu (not their government name). What started as several notes on scraps of paper became multiple email drafts, then Google Docs, then notes in Evernote (and later pages in Notion), and still currently exists in a mishmash of all of that, plus two separate Google Sheets and now this: a newsletter about ideas.
I took a very long time to get this started because I thought maybe these ideas all sucked. But over time, I realized:

- We're in a dumpster fire nesting doll of a coup within a pandemic in a capitalist patriarchy.
- Maybe not all my ideas are bad.

You won't find me on socials like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, or even Bluesky. So please subscribe to my weekly newsletter about all sorts of ideas. You'll also have full access to this site — including an archive of everything that's been published and everything that's still to come.
